What if you simply devoted this year to loving yourself more?

WAYS TO LOVE YOURSELF MORE

  • Know yourself
  • Say “no” when you need to.
  • Allow yourself down time.
  • Be truly present
  • Be honest with yourself
  • Let yourself off the hook for your mistakes and imperfections.
  • Accept that some people won’t like you.
  • Work on forgiving yourself for the bigger stuff.
  • Make fun a priority.
  • Practice gratitude.
  • Write down your successes.
  • Feel your feelings.
  • Take good care of your body.
  • Stand up for yourself. 
  • Write yourself a love letter.
  • Ask for help when you need it.

Forgive anyone who has caused you pain or harm.

Keep in mind that forgiving is not for others . It is for you. Forgiving is not forgetting. It is  remembering without anger. It frees up your power, heals your body, mind and spirit. Forgiveness opens up a pathway to a new place of peace where you can persist despite what has happened to you.

A teacher can build a child up or tear a child down.  Never believe in the phrase” sticks and stones can break my bones, but words can never hurt me”. That is a lie, words will stick with a child longer than getting beat with sticks and stones. When a child is told a negative comment by a teacher. The child  believes the negative comment, and it stays with the child through life. For all uplifting teacher’s out there who inspire students, thank you we all appreciate the tremendous job you do. For the  teachers and administrators out there who tell students negative comments and tear student down, they should stop. The teachers and administrators  should be careful our children are the future and you may discourage  a student from becoming great. A student may not realize their potential and may stop a child from achieving their dreams and goals of their future.  

Positive Affirmations

Affirmations can be read every morning and during the evening before bed, deep breathing exercises can help with sleep. Affirmations can be recorded and played when you get a break during during the day.  Listening to affirmations during a work-out has a great outcome.  Affirmations can help you focus on your goals and dreams.
